Official Scoring
PrizePicks only uses rulings and statistics provided by official sources or trusted third-party providers. Our official scoring partners include: SportRadar, Genius, Stats Perform, Bayes, Grid, and Gamescorekeeper.
All PrizePicks results will be based on these official rulings and statistics, as posted at the conclusion of the sporting or cultural event. Any changes to the original decision will not be reflected in the result of a pick after it has been settled.
We will not adjust payouts based on alternative sources for scoring, including but not limited to video recordings.
Scoring FAQ
Why don’t I see live scoring on my picks?
Only certain leagues and stat-types on PrizePicks have live scoring available.
Live scoring is currently available on most stat-types for NFL, College Football, NBA, WNBA, MLB, College Basketball, and NHL.
Why is the live scoring on my pick different from other sources?
Live Scoring on PrizePicks is intended to be a convenient snapshot of your progress, not an official scorekeeping tool. Any inconsistencies with official scoring will be settled after the game with the official league box scores and stats.
Can I dispute your scoring?
PrizePicks only uses stats provided by official league sources or trusted third-party providers. We will not adjust payouts based on alternative sources for scoring, including but not limited to video recordings.
What happens if the official stats are changed after they are initially posted?
All results will be based on the statistics provided by our official scoring partners, as originally posted at the conclusion of the sporting event or competition. Any changes to the original scoring decision will NOT be reflected in the result of a pick after it has been settled. However, PrizePicks reserves the right to retroactively issue corrections for stats that are clear and obvious scoring errors. These situations will be determined at our sole discretion.
What if PrizePicks uploads an incorrect score?
At PrizePicks we want to knock it out of the park every time we come to bat, but mistakes do happen from time to time. If an incorrect score is uploaded due to a mistake on our end, and that mistake affects payouts, we will resettle all affected picks to reflect the correct stats.
Please note: minor changes or adjustments to official stats are standard procedure in certain sports and DO NOT qualify as mistakes on our end. All picks will be settled according to the originally posted outcome, as described in the section above regarding changes to official stats.
Why does the Last 5 Games graph has different stats?
In-App Last 5 Games stats are a convenient way to check player performance, but they are not intended to function as official statistics. They are compiled by a third-party stat provider, so PrizePicks cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.
There may be times when official scoring corrections are applied to the final score in a Lineup, but are not yet reflected in the Last 5 graph. If there are any discrepancies between stats displayed on the Last 5 Games and official box scores, the official box score will always be the authoritative source.
