Account Balance

When you complete a successful deposit, your funds will automatically be credited into your PrizePicks balance. From here, you will immediately be able to make picks using those funds.

There are some additional rules related to which pick types can be made depending on the deposit method you used, as well as when and how you can withdraw funds from your PrizePicks balance to your personal account. There are also some specialized funds that PrizePicks may occasionally award to your account; these specialized funds often come with extra stipulations.

Playable Balance

This is the number of dollars on your PrizePicks account that are available to fund picks. Your playable balance will update immediately when you make a successful deposit. If your balance doesn’t update, we recommend taking troubleshooting steps before you attempt another deposit.

If you use a deposit method that is accepted for both Player Picks and Team and Culture Picks, then your funds can be used to make any kind of pick you want. However, if you use a deposit method that is only accepted for Player Picks (e.g. credit cards, PayPal, etc.), those funds WILL NOT be available to use on Team or Culture Picks.

Withdrawable Balance

This is the total number of dollars in your balance that are eligible to be withdrawn. Your withdrawable balance might be different from your playable balance for a few reasons:

1. If you receive a Deposit Match offer, you must complete a 1x playthrough of the deposited funds before they can be withdrawn. For example, if you receive a deposit match on a $100 deposit, you must submit and play through $100 worth of picks before you can withdraw. Player Pick lineups must be submitted using your regular balance (not your Bonus balance) in order to count toward any playthrough requirement.
2. If you deposited via bank transfer, there will be a 72-hour hold placed on your funds for security purposes. You will be able to use the funds to make picks, but you will be blocked from withdrawing those funds until the 72-hour period has passed.

Bonus Balance

Bonus Balance is a special in-app currency awarded to PrizePicks Members during various promotions. You may not withdraw from your Bonus balance, but you may use it to fund Player Pick lineup submissions. Winning lineups that were placed using Bonus balance will be automatically converted to your regular balance, which can then be withdrawn.

If you have Bonus balance available to use, any lineups you submit will automatically draw from your promo fund balance. However, if your promo fund balance is lower than the amount you input for your lineup fee, funds will be drawn from your credit fund balance instead.

If you have any Bonus balance credited to your account, those funds will automatically be used for the entry fee of your next lineup submission. However, if your Bonus balance is lower than the amount you input for your entry fee, funds will be drawn from your regular balance instead.

Bonus balance cannot be used to fund Team or Culture picks.

Balance Gained by Payouts

If you earn a payout as a result of any pick submissions (Players, Teams and Culture, or Free), those funds will automatically go into your regular balance.

The funds will be freed from any hold or limitation that was previously placed on them, including the 1x playthrough requirement and the 72-hour security hold.

Additionally, balance gained by payouts have no limitations on what type of pick you can select.
