Colts head coach Shane Steichen has his team off to a 2-0 start, but his team could be without a key emerging playmaker in Week 3 vs. the Titans.
Rookie TE Tyler Warren — who has quickly become a favorite target of QB Daniel Jones — was held out of Wednesday’s practice with a toe injury ahead of Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
With no practice on Wednesday, Warren's injury status for Week 3 is up in the air for the time being.
Warren is coming off another strong outing in the win over the Broncos, where he posted 4 catches for 79 yards and earned his second straight NFL Rookie of the Week nomination on a whopping 66 snaps.
But with the Colts looking to keep momentum rolling, his status has become one of the most important storylines to monitor ahead of Week 3 for fantasy football and NFL DFS. We'll take a look at Warren's fantasy and NFL DFS projections below, plus the latest news.

Will Tyler Warren Play in Week 3?
The positive outlook for Indianapolis is that Warren’s injury doesn’t appear to be serious. He was spotted moving well before stepping out of team drills, and he still has a chance to suit up Sunday in Nashville, depending on his Thursday and Friday practice results.
Still, his participation in Thursday and Friday’s practices will be telling. If Warren can log at least a limited session, he’ll likely be cleared to play in Week 3 — it's something to monitor closely.
This no practice on Wednesday is likely more about precaution and resting their star TE, rater than a major setback.
Warren's presence huge for the Colts’ offense. Warren has already carved out a role as a legitimate chain-mover and red-zone threat, leading all rookie tight ends in targets (16) — tied with Brock Bowers and Trey McBride among all tight ends — and ranking top 5 among all TEs in yards per catch (14.1).
If Warren can’t go, Mo Alie-Cox and Kylen Granson would be asked to pick up the slack, but neither has Warren’s explosiveness in space, and the ability to stretch the field like Warren does. Neither is fantasy relevant.
Tyler Warren: Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook
Through two weeks, Warren has quickly emerged as one of the more reliable tight ends in fantasy football, living up to his draft season hype. He’s averaging 2.77 yards per route run, per PFF.
Against Denver in Week 2, Warren accounted for 79 of Jones’ 316 passing yards, showing how quickly the veteran has come to trust him.
Fantasy managers should closely monitor his practice status this week, but if Warren is active, he projects as a TE1 with clear touchdown upside. Even if his snaps are slightly managed, his 82.4 PFF offensive grade through the first two games of his career keeps him in the must-start mix.
Tyler Warren Projections vs. Titans, Week 3
PrizePicks NFL board has already posted Warren’s Week 3 projections, which is another positive indicator he’s expected to play:
- Receiving Yards: 46.5
- Receiving TDs: 0.5
With QB Daniel Jones leaning on him in critical spots, his yards look like a spot to target, as he has averaged 77.5 yards per game so far on eight targets per game.
He'll face a Titans secondary that ranks 20th in fantasy points allowed to TEs so far in 2025; they gave up 5-32 to Broncos' ragtag tight ends room, and 5-45-1 to the Rams' tight ends — neither have a player as challenging to cover as Warren.
